The International Garden Festivals, also known as IGA, are a series of events held around the world to showcase horticulture and gardening. They are organized by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) and are recognized as official international expositions.
The first IGA was held in Liverpool, Great Britain in 1984, with the theme "The progress accomplished by International and National Horticulture". Since then, many countries have hosted their own IGA, including Germany, Netherlands, China, and Qatar.
